Our major donors and corporate partners are vital to helping us positively impact the lives of children in Australia, the Pacific and beyond on a daily basis. You will work collaboratively to ensure the success of this new major donor and corporate partner fundraising product, make regular and meaningful contact with funders in order to meet ambitious goals, and help cultivate long lasting partnerships to drive growth in income and impact.

Where you come in:

In this full-time, permanent position based in our Carlton head office, you will lead on the management and growth of a fundraising product, engaging directly with philanthropic and corporate donors, and working closely with other Save the Children colleagues to show the impact this fund has on the lives of children in Australia and around the world.

You will be part of our Supporter Engagement team and report to our Head of Partnerships.

You will make an impact by:

·Building strong relationships with major donors and corporate donors, with a focus on account growth, stewardship and retention, including strong reporting and promotion of our joint successes.
·Develop an effective donor pipeline and maximise income from new and existing major donors and corporate partners.

·Lead the delivery of an annual engagement plan with proactive, responsive and planned communications.

·Monitor the performance of the fundraising product and report on progress against agreed milestones.

·Liaise with other Save the Children teams (including marketing, international and domestic programs, and finance) to ensure delivery of income and a positive supporter experience.

Does this sound like you?

You have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to persuade, motivate, network and negotiate effectively, both internally and externally. You’re structured in your approach to managing your workload, proactive in researching and initiating new business opportunities, and have good program management skills.

This role requires:

·Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with corporate or philanthropic donors.

·Proven experience in budget / financial management.

·Experience in developing cultivation and solicitation strategies.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and deliver information in a compelling, clear and confident manner.

·Excellent relationship management, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

·High competency with the MS Office suite of programs, including PowerPoint and CRM management.
